Wool & Yarns for a Warm and Cozy Winter
Did you spot our article in KreavaK magazine—October 2022? We've added some new yarns to our selection: Alpaca wool, Space Wool, Re-cotton wool, Tubecord, Daisy Wool and Boho macramé yarn.
New to our product line!
Alpaca wool
This fall, KippersHobby—the newest addition to the Stafil brand—is offering ALPACA wool in 50-gram skeins (80 meters).
This is 70% alpaca wool, blended with 20% wool and 10% acrylic; the acrylic is added to prevent the delicate alpaca wool from sagging. The yarn is machine washable at 30 degrees Celsius.
The collection features beautiful fall colors, as well as classic dusty pink, gray, and beige.
Space Wool
In addition, the Stafil brand offers the SPACE yarn series, 2 mm, featuring 8 beautiful color-gradient combinations, as well as 4 SPACE GLITTER yarns, 2 mm, in a feathered color gradient enhanced with a glitter thread. Both yarns are machine washable up to 30 degrees Celsius.
Re-cotton yarn
Re-cotton is a sustainable yarn made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. This yarn is available from us in 23 different colors. We recommend using knitting or crochet needles sizes 2–4 for this yarn.
Tubecord
Tubecord from Stafil is ready-to-use crochet cord. For decoration, you can use metal wire to bend it into shapes—such as text, flowers, butterflies, etc., as shown in the video. Let your creativity run wild!
Daisy Wool
The DAISY yarn from Stafil is composed of 65% wool, 27% acrylic, and 8% alpaca wool with a mottled appearance, also available in beautiful fall shades in 50-gram skeins (80 meters).
However, this wool is only suitable for hand washing. We recommend using size 7–8 knitting needles for this yarn.

Boho macramé yarn
Boho macramé cord is a thick type of macramé cord. It’s perfect for combing out into beautiful feathers, for example. The video below shows you how to tie these feathers. In addition to feathers, you can create beautiful pieces with My Macramé Boho cord. This cord is tied by hand only, without any tools. Each skein weighs 250 grams, is 70 meters long, and is 4 mm wide.
