Our selection of fabric dyes
When choosing a fabric dye, it is important to consider the type of fabric, the intended use, and the desired results. Also pay attention to the fabric’s washability; as a general rule, fabric dyes allow for a washing temperature of 30 to 60 degrees Celsius.
Sosoft from DecoArt
Sosoft fabric dye from DecoArt is designed for dyeing fabrics that feel soft and supple. Sosoft can be used on clothing, curtains, pillows, and other textiles.
It provides excellent coverage on light-colored fabrics, and more opaque colors are available for dark fabrics. Sosoft is available in a wide range of colors. The colors can be mixed together, allowing you to create your own unique color palette.
Seta Color from Pébéo
Seta Color by Pébéo is a fabric paint suitable for printing on fabrics. It comes in a 45-ml jar and is applied with a brush. However, Seta Color markers are also available for easily coloring small details or painting sneakers, for example. Use tools such as stamps or stencils—or let your imagination run wild. The paint adheres well to the fabric fibers and remains bright and vibrant, even after many washes. Tip: To be on the safe side, always set the fabric paint with an iron on the back of the fabric as soon as the paint is dry. This ensures better adhesion. Iron at a temperature that the fabric can withstand.
Fabric Dye from Viva Decor
Textile dye from Viva Decor is a water-based fabric dye designed to color light and dark fabrics. So it’s not a paint for coloring in patterns and/or details, but rather for adding color to fabric. This dye is also more accurately referred to as a DYE.
Fabric Markers of Pébéo and Faber Castell
These markers have a fine tip, allowing you to create detailed drawings. Fabric markers are available in a wide range of colors and can be used on various types of fabric. After painting or drawing, the fabric is washable at up to 60 degrees Celsius. Tip: Give the fabric paint some time to soak into the fabric and set, so don’t wash it immediately or the very next day.
