- Cut a heart out of paper and use a marker to draw dots along its outline on the wood.
- Hammer short nails into the dots.
- Wrap the first piece of wire around a nail and secure it with a knot.
- Now move back and forth in a zigzag pattern—from side to side, from top to bottom, and so on.
- Until you've used up all the nails.
- Cut the thread generously and tie a knot around a small nail.
- Cut the thread short and, if necessary, put a drop of glue on the knot.
- Cut a heart out of cardboard.
- Secure the end of the Flaxcord or string to the heart with tape.
- Place the Flaxcord or string over the heart. Repeat this several times, moving the Flaxcord or string as you go to completely cover the cardboard along the edges.
- Thread the last piece of string through the center at the top of the heart and tie a knot.
