Tools:
300195-141 crochet hook, wool needle, scissors.

Instructions:
Using the alpaca yarn (100916-62), chain 74 stitches and join to form a ring with a slip stitch. Row 1: Work one double crochet, skip two chain stitches, and work 5 double crochets in the third chain stitch. Skip two chain stitches and work one double crochet. Repeat this process for the entire round. Round 2: Using the orange yarn (item 100916-550), work 5 double crochets into the double crochet from Round 1, skip two double crochets of the bow made with the orange yarn, and work one double crochet. Round 3: Using the orange yarn, work 3 slip stitches into the first 3 double crochets below. Using the green yarn, work 5 double crochets and close the bow by working a double crochet into the third double crochet of the bow below. Repeat the process until Round 12. Round 13: Work 4 double crochets and one double crochet. Round 14: Work double crochets and one double crochet. Round 15: Work 2 double crochets and one double crochet. Row 16: Work one double crochet and skip the next stitch. Closure: Close the hat opening with a running stitch. Fasten off all ends with the needle. Hat Brim: Using the green alpaca yarn, chain 7 and work the first row in double crochets. Insert the hook into the chain space from the hat’s double crochet, pull the yarn through without closing the stitch, then insert the hook into the next stitch, pull the yarn through, and close both stitches. Work back in double crochet along the edge, picking up only the chain stitches. Repeat the process around the entire circumference of the hat and fasten off the ends of the brim. Make a pom-pom and sew it onto the top of the hat.

Instructions:
Using the alpaca yarn (100916-14), chain 50 + 3 for turning + 1, for a total of 54. Work the scarf as shown in the diagram. Work 45 rows + 1 seam if you’re joining the two flaps with the same crochet hook; otherwise, work 46 rows and then sew them together with the yarn needle.
