Marianne Design August 2022

The temperature outside is starting to feel summery and we arrive with a tasty Autumn and Winter collection.

Because cards are also made in the summer months!

Beautiful flowers

With the new Craftables Stitching Border Pine Twigs, give Christmas cards an extra nice flair and texture.

Autumn forest

Make the most colourful autumn cards with the new Creatables. Includes a house for all the little forest dwellers.

Autumn ride

We tour the autumn forest with the new Collectables Car by Marleen. Fun together with gnomes and mushroom.

Stamped flowers

Tiny Harts drew beautiful new autumn flowers. The Poinsettia and Sunflower include contour mould.

Gnomes stamps

The common thread in the August collection are the new gnomes stamps. Of course, these come with a matching contour template, as this makes it even broader and easier to apply to your cards, labels or other paper projects.

For the gnomes, we have a big red mushroom to sit on or under, but like this spring's Daisy, this mushroom can also be used on its own on a card or combined with an Eline animal. You want this one!

In addition, the gnomes get their own cottage in the forest. Both for the stamps and for the still popular LR0554 gnomes. And Eline's little animals can live in this house too.

Autumn theme

New Autumn leaves, a forest for the background, a mini doily and a beautiful large Art texture leaf complete the Autumn theme even more. But of course, you can also incorporate the doily and tall forest on Winter cards as Neline shows with her examples.

Background cutting sheets by Eline

You can use Autumn or Winter paper with the gnomes. You can also use Eline's background cut-outs with the gnomes, but we have also made new background cut-outs to match the Frozen Winter paper. In circles and squares but also mini-pictures, as they fit nicely into the mini circles from June and these new ones from August. You can add the gnomes in the foreground.

Text stamps

In the texts, we have Autumn texts as well as new Winter & Christmas texts. Again, these fit well on all the labels and banners we have in our collection. Or use the mini doily to stamp the text.

Marleen's car

Fans of Eline animals had to wait a long time for this fun addition in the Collectables, but there it is....

Marleen's car! Marleen shows in this month's new Marianne Magazine that you can use the car for all occasions. And you can make it with a front or back. Eline's mice, bears or other critters in it that are going on Honeymoon, holiday or have just finished. How fun!

The gnomes also find it perfect for riding through the woods, of course.

Flower stamps by Tiny Hart

For autumn, she has drawn and beautiful Poinsettia and a Sunflower. That always makes you happy.

Colour them as you like and punch them out with the matching contour template. You can go for making your own backgrounds or keep it simple with just templates and a text. You can do so much with these flowers, we can't show it all in the mailing.

These flowers will also be featured extensively in the August issue of Marianne Magazine.

Marianne design cross stitch patterns

For those who love embroidery on cards, Marianne has drawn a lovely pattern of pine branches, berries and holly leaves.

Especially as an introduction, we have a Craftable plus set made from the new border. In addition to this border template, you will also receive a set of Mattie Christmas and winter cutting sheets.

Which thread for embroidery on cards/paper?

For embroidery on cards and paper, Marianne Design recommends using high quality thread from DMC or Nilo thread from Stafil.
